Both of these excitingly different fine wines are incredible after dinner dessert wines. They are called “vino licoroso”, a Malbec and Torrontés sweet liquors made by fermenting the grape until it produces 70 grams of sugar per liter, stopping the fermentation then adding the natural alcohol. Both are over 17% alcohol, not for the faint of heart.

Preparation

Serve both Torrontés and the Malbec well chilled. Both wines are filled with surprises for those looking for a dessert replacement. Suggested consumption temperature 50 to 54 F.
